This role will be responsible for supervising employees, coordinating workflow, maintaining productivity and quality standards, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations and assigned employees within the food distribution center.
- Coordinate workflow to ensure orders and operational tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor employee productivity, attendance, quality, and performance.
- Train, coach, and support team members to meet operational goals.
- Ensure food handling, safety, and company procedures are followed.
- Communicate daily updates, staffing needs, and operational concerns to management.
- Address employee and workflow issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Complete required reports and documentation.
- Assist management with other operational duties and projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience required.
- Experience in a food distribution center, warehouse, or similar environment preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and effectively lead a team.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
- Must be dependable and flexible.
